I really love these Fairy Yume contacts in Ash Purple. The are super comfortable for everyday wear. I've worn them up to 10(+) hours and they still feel great. The decription states they last up to a year so these are super worth it including the price. They don't block my vision in the pupil at all and fit around my iris very well.
They look amazing in my eyes and add quite the sparkle due to the silver lines in the design. I'm based in the US so I'm used to wearing Freshlook colors in gray but I try to stock up on Korean contacts when visiting family so I've worn tons of different types of lenses for almost 20 years. Wish id known about eyecandys sooner. I usually lean towards gray colors as they are so versatile, purples are my next favorite. Even though these aren't so obviously purple they are probably one of my favorites that I've tried. The design is unique and they look so naturally tinted by blending well with my natural brown. Gotta mention that silver again, I think that's what makes me absolutely love these.
I have medium brown eyes which get darker towards my pupil with a dark limbal ring. These effectively change the tone of my eyes very slightly and make them seem lighter at times due to the silver-white lining that has a sparkling effect in the light. If you want bright purple contacts, the the eyecandys shade violet lenses may be more your style but if you want a naturally purple tint with a little sparkle then these are probably for you.
I've included photos of my natural color with a contact in one eye in indirect natural bright light with flash. One photo with contacts in both eyes in indirect natural bright light with flash. And one photo with contacts in both eyes in indoor bright lighting, no flash.
I want to be as informative as possible because sometimes I have a difficult time reading reviews to gauge how contacts will look on my eyes. Especially when most photos included are simply selfies or loaded with filters that don't show what the contacts look like at ALL. Hopefully this review will be helpful to you. Good luck on your lense search!
