NEO Toric Glamour Brown Circle Lenses

NEO Glamour has been one of our favorite prescription colored contacts lines for the past 8 years, and for good reason. They look like standard 3-tone decorative lenses out of the packaging - as base color, with inner light beige ring and an outer dark rim. But once they’re on the eye, BAM! It’s a whole other story. And now, they're available for those requiring a Toric lens!

These lenses make eyes pop by virtue of the dashed limbal ring, an original design feature by NEO Vision. Though a solid limbal ring makes the iris uniformly circular, it risks making the eyes look sticker-like. NEO’s dashed limbal ring eliminates this risk by turning the edge of the iris into a gradient that blends smoother into the white of the eyes. Together with dense coloration and a starburst design containing just the right amount of transparency, Glamour is a winning combination when it comes to brown contact lenses.

  • NEO Glamour brown contact lenses are composed of a light beige surrounding a yellowish internal blending ring. On the outer edge is a darker grey dashed limbal ring of around 2mm in thickness.
  • Available in both non prescription and myopia prescription (power 0.00 ~ -10.00)
  • FALSE
  • 13.6 mm graphic diameter (14.0 mm actual lens diameter) makes these prescription colored contacts extremely realistic, with only a slight eye-enlarging effect when worn.
  • These lenses are made with the ever-popular polymacon hydrogel with NEO Vision’s signature 45% water content, which is higher than most other brands. The result is irritation-free comfort all day.

Are colored contacts safe?

Our color contact lenses are made in Korea by manufacturers that export extensively globally. They have various health certifications from some of which include the KFDA (Korea Food and Drug Administration), MHLW (Japan Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare), ISO (International Standard Organisation), CE (Conformité Européenne), KGMP (Korea Good Manufacturing Practice) and UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) at minimum. The full list for each specific product can be found in the table above. So you can rest assured when shopping with Eyecandys that any color contact lenses you purchase from our site are completely safe to use with proper care!

How do I clean and care for my contact lenses?

Here are a few dos and don’ts when it comes to colored contact lens safety.

✅ DO consult your optician or eye doctor before wearing/purchasing a pair of our lenses.

✅ DO wash and dry your hands whenever you handle your lenses or attempt insertion/removal.

✅ DO insert your color contacts after applying makeup, with clean hands.

✅ DO soak your lenses for two hours in solution prior to inserting them into your eye.

✅ DO wash your lenses in solution if they touch anything besides your eyes.

✅ DO keep your lenses case clean and regularly change the eye care solution.

✅ DO remove the contacts before you go to sleep.

Who can and can't wear colored contacts?

Unfortunately, colored contact lenses aren’t for everyone. For example, if you suffer from dry eye syndrome, contacts may not be for you. Those who are severely nearsighted may not be able to find contact lenses with a strong enough prescription to fully correct their vision.

Also, some people are allergic to the contact cleaning solution, or even the contacts themselves. As daily cleaning of contact lenses is crucial to eye health for contact wearers, an allergy to the cleaning solution poses a very real issue.

Some doctors recommend that diabetic patients avoid contact lenses as they may be more prone to infection and have more difficulty recovering from infection. Children’s eyes are particularly sensitive and fragile and wearing contacts at a young age could cause eye damage.

People suffering from the following should not wear colored contact lenses, as these eye conditions may be further irritated by inserting lenses:

  • Any eye infections (Such as conjunctivitis)
  • Any corneal conditions (Such as keratitis)
  • Any allergic eye conditions (Such as hayfever)
  • Any chronic disease of the eye (Such as glaucoma)

Please consult your eye care professional as to whether you are eligible for color contact lenses.

Are these contacts reusable?

Yes, these lenses can be reused with proper cleaning and storage for up to Yearly after you open the package.

They may have an indication “for daily wear,” which simply means that you can wear them everyday, up to Yearly after the first wear.

Will wearing colored contacts affect my vision?

Typically, colored contacts do not affect your sight. However, there can be instances where the colored part of the lens may shift over your pupil and cause temporary visual blurriness. For precautionary measures, you might want to opt for lenses with a larger optical zone (the clear centre hole) or those where the colored part doesn't extend too far into the center. The only exception is costume lenses that feature a grid or mesh design. These colored contacts are crafted to cover your pupil too, which will inevitably obscure your vision.
