Typically, colored contacts do not affect your sight. However, there can be instances where the colored part of the lens may shift over your pupil and cause temporary visual blurriness. For precautionary measures, you might want to opt for lenses with a larger optical zone (the clear centre hole) or those where the colored part doesn't extend too far into the center.
